Suspended

Suspended is an all-female thrash metal band from Albuquerque, New Mexico. They formed in 2003 after meeting at high school, initially aiming to compete in a school talent show. The band's name was inspired by the fact that all members were once suspended from school. Amanda Castillo handles guitar and vocals, Channing Concho is on drums, and Jessica Armstrong plays bass and vocals. Over the years, Suspended has released notable EPs such as "Prelude to Indignance," "Dig Your Own Grave," and their latest work, "Hollowed Minds." The band has maintained a DIY attitude despite being unsigned, showcasing their resilience and talent in the music scene. Suspended has supported their career through touring and performing at various events, including a tour with Nervosa, a Brazilian metal band.
