**Udora** is a Brazilian rock band that originated in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. Formed in 1997 under the name **Diesel**, the band initially consisted of singer/guitarist Gustavo Drummond, drummer Jean Dolabella, and bassist Ian Dolabella. Over time, the lineup evolved, with guitarist Leo Marques joining and Ian leaving, replaced by Thiago Correa. In 2001, they gained national recognition by winning a spot at the Rock in Rio 3 festival, where they performed alongside notable bands like Deftones and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
In 2001, the band moved to Los Angeles to pursue opportunities in the U.S. market, changing their name to **Udora** to avoid conflicts with the Diesel brand. They were signed to J Records and released their first album as Udora, **Liberty Square**, in 2005. After returning to Brazil in 2006, they released **Goodbye, Alô** in 2007 and **Belle Époque** in 2011. The band's style has evolved significantly over the years, with **Belle Époque** marking a notable shift towards pop influences.
