Mataplantas is a Spanish indie rock band formed in 2014 in Madrid. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Alejandro Martínez, bassist and vocalist Javier Fernández, and drummer and vocalist Luis Rodríguez. Mataplantas' music is characterized by its catchy melodies, energetic rhythms, and introspective lyrics. Their songs often explore themes of love, loss, and the search for meaning in life. The band has released several EPs and singles, including "Sintonía," "Escape del Planeta Viviente," "Hickie," and "El Sueño del Hombre Pulpo."
