Lord Huron

Lord Huron is an American indie folk band formed in Los Angeles, California in 2010. The group was created by Michigan-born singer, songwriter, and guitarist Ben Schneider during a trip to the shores of Lake Huron, one of the Great Lakes, where he was inspired to create a musical project that fused his love of nature with his passion for epic, cinematic music. Schneider soon enlisted friends to help translate his expansive vision into a full-band context, and Lord Huron became known for their rich storytelling and atmospheric sound that blends rustic folk, Western twang, and lush harmonies.

The band's discography boasts a number of critically acclaimed albums, with their unique sound maturing and evolving over time. "Long Lost," released in May 2021, is their fourth studio album and serves as a beautiful addition to their oeuvre, featuring the haunting single "Mine Forever" and the reflective "Not Dead Yet." The Deluxe Edition of the album offers more for fans with additional tracks and content. Lord Huron also shows their versatility by creating “Music for The Starling Girl,” which showcases their ability to compose a film score that complements their existing body of work while extending their artistic reach. The project indicates a band that is comfortable with experimentation and continues to push their creative boundaries.
