The American Scream is a metalcore band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2019, the band consists of vocalist Michael Swank, guitarists Sean Zatorsky and Matt Sollars, bassist Tyler Smith, and drummer Jake Jones. Their music is characterized by its heavy riffs, soaring vocals, and introspective lyrics that explore themes of mental health, addiction, and personal struggles. The band has released several singles and EPs, including "obey!" and "You're My Killer," and is currently working on their debut full-length album.
