Hailing from Belgium, the duo consists of Dirk Da Davo (synthesizers and vocals) and TB Frank (guitar and vocals), who began experimenting with the emerging sounds of electronic music in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Their sound is characterized by a gritty blend of synthesizers, guitar, and commanding vocals, combining the energy of punk with the futuristic aesthetics of synth-pop and industrial sounds. The Neon Judgement's early works were embraced by the underground music scenes in Europe and North America, with seminal tracks like "TV Treated" and releases such as "Mafu Cage" and the compilation "Early Tapes" underscoring their innovation and raw appeal.
