Divlje Jagode

Divlje Jagode (which translates to "Wild Strawberries") are a prominent rock band from the former Yugoslavia, now Bosnia and Herzegovina, formed in 1977. The band was founded by lead guitarist Sead 'Zeke' Lipovača and has, over the years, been known for their blend of hard rock with regional folk music motifs. Their music has resonated with fans across the Balkans and they have enjoyed a loyal following since their early days.

The band's lineup has undergone numerous changes throughout their long career, but Zeke has remained the constant driving force behind their enduring presence on the rock scene. Divlje Jagode's sound has been typified by powerful guitar riffs and anthemic melodies, traits that have secured them a signature place in the history of ex-Yugoslav rock music. The songs listed, including "Zauvijek Tvoj" and "Kreni Kišo," showcase their ability to combine classic rock elements with emotive, often romantic lyrics, which has helped sustain their popularity spanning several decades. The band's live performances, such as those captured in "MTS Dvorana (Live In Beograd)," continue to draw in fans with their high energy and masterful musicianship.
