Cabaret Aberrante

**Cabaret Aberrante** is a Barcelona-based death metal act that’s been delivering grotesque, over-the-top performances since 2009, blending brutal death metal with grindcore and theatrical shock elements. Founded by Fernando Martín, the project evolved from his teenage noise experiments (including an earlier solo venture called *Sodomía Necrófaga*) into a full-fledged live spectacle incorporating extreme music and provocative visuals. Recent releases like *Brutalofilia* (2023) and *Sadismo post porno* showcase their unrelenting fusion of gore-themed lyrics and chaotic instrumentation, with Martín handling creative direction while collaborating with session musicians for live shows.

While the band’s studio work remains largely a solo endeavor, their concerts lean into a cabaret-inspired chaos, described as a “blasphemous allegory” of cruelty and sadism. Though lineups have shifted over the years, Cabaret Aberrante continues to push boundaries in Spain’s underground metal scene.
