Chazzy Lake

Chazzy Lake is the musical project of Charlie Hill, a singer-songwriter and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. Hill has been involved in various musical endeavors, including performing with the disco-punk trio Bison and the country ensemble Olivia Lurrie & the OTB Band. As Chazzy Lake, Hill released his debut full-length album "Sup, Circumstance" in 2020, which blends genres like alt-country and lo-fi electronic pop. The album explores themes of personal perspective and adapting to reality.

Hill's approach to music-making is collaborative, often working with other musicians to bring his songs to life. He has also used his music for fundraising efforts, such as writing commissioned songs to raise money for COVID-19 relief funds. Chazzy Lake's sound is characterized by a mix of acoustic elements and electronic textures, with Hill's introspective lyrics at the forefront.
