Sourav Giri is a singer-songwriter from Kolkata, India, who began his musical journey at the age of four despite growing up in a family without a formal musical background. He eventually moved to Mumbai to pursue his dreams in music, initially gaining recognition through his Bollywood covers. However, Sourav's passion for creative freedom led him to explore the indie music scene. His debut EP, *Cyan*, released on January 30, 2025, is a soulful exploration of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery. The EP blends Indian classical influences with global acoustic sounds, capturing the emotional phases of relationships in a unique and nostalgic yet modern atmosphere.

Sourav has received significant praise for his emotional songwriting and captivating stage presence, with performances across West Bengal and beyond. His music has been featured on notable platforms such as Zee Music Company, and his independent tracks continue to attract a growing fanbase. Recently, he has been involved in other projects like the *Naam Kamataru* EP, further expanding his musical repertoire.
