Tien Viet Nguyen

Tien Viet Nguyen is a musician from Easton, Maryland, USA. His music reflects his diverse experiences as a global citizen, drawing influences from Bossa Nova, Hindustani classical music, West African blues, and R&B soul grooves. Tien began violin lessons at the age of six, thanks to his parents, and later learned to play guitar, bass, flute, and keys. His mother was a singer and zither player trained in traditional Vietnamese music, which likely influenced his early exposure to diverse musical styles. Over the past decade, Tien has lived between the U.S., Brazil, and Bulgaria, collaborating with friends in these countries to create original music. He has recently collaborated with Nigel Good on the single "The Magic," a melodic Drum & Bass track released on Monstercat.
