gamin is a celebrated Korean traditional musician, known for her mastery of wind instruments like the piri (a double-reed bamboo flute), saenghwang (a type of mouth organ), and taepyeongso (a Korean shawm). Trained under some of Korea’s top masters, gamin is recognized as one of the few musicians who carries the lineage of these important musical traditions. She's performed internationally, blending classical Korean sounds with contemporary and experimental music, and often collaborates with musicians across different genres. In addition to her solo releases like Nong and Heaven Wind Star Poem, gamin has been a vibrant force in introducing Korean traditional music to broader audiences around the world.
