Jacob Mafuleni

Jacob Mafuleni is a talented Zimbabwean musician, singer, dancer, and instrument maker who has been active in the music scene since 1992. He's known for his skills on multiple instruments, including the mbira, njari, marimba, guitar, and drums. Jacob has gained recognition for his performances, winning an award for best instrumentalist in Zimbabwe and touring worldwide with various renowned bands and dance troupes.

Together with his wife Martha Thom, who provides vocals and percussion, Jacob has collaborated with French electro-funk artist Gary Gritness on projects like the album "Batanidzo". This fusion of traditional Zimbabwean music with electronic elements showcases Jacob's versatility as an artist and his ability to blend different musical styles.
