Tahir Palalı is a musician who spent his early childhood in Nurhak and Elbistan, Turkey. During this period, he was heavily influenced by local Alevi Ashik's and Dede's, which later shaped his unique musical style. He moved to London at the age of 10 and began working with musicians from around the world. One of his notable collaborations was the production of his solo album 'O' with Erkan Ogur. Tahir has performed in various festivals and venues, including WOMAD and the Royal Albert Hall, where he has showcased traditional Dede Sazi from the Maras region. His music often reflects the mystic and immanent values of the Alevi-Bektashi tradition.
Some of his recent releases include **Göçersin**, **Felek**, **Bülbülün Feryadı**, and **O**. Tahir Palalı continues to compose and perform, blending traditional elements with contemporary musical sensibilities.
