Hadara Levin Areddy

Hadara Levin Areddy is a multifaceted artist based in Jerusalem, known for her work as a singer/songwriter, poet, author, spoken-word artist, columnist, and painter. She graduated with honors from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in Film and Television, where she wrote and directed her first independent feature film. At the age of 37, she began her music career without prior formal training, combining genres like folk, indie-pop, blues, funk, jazz, electronic, soul, and hip-hop. Her music and writing are characterized by their iconoclastic themes, intimate honesty, and dark humor, earning her accolades such as Best Alternative Singer/Songwriter in 2002.
