Nana Mouskouri

Nana Mouskouri is a Greek singer who has sold over 300 million records worldwide. She is known for her clear voice and her ability to sing in multiple languages. Mouskouri has released over 150 albums and has performed in over 100 countries. She is one of the best-selling female artists of all time.

Mouskouri was born in Chania, Crete, Greece, in 1934. She began singing at a young age and studied at the Athens Conservatory. In 1959, she won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "La dernière valse". This launched her international career, and she soon became one of the most popular singers in the world. Mouskouri has sung in over 12 languages, including Greek, French, English, Spanish, Italian, German, Dutch, Portuguese, Hebrew, Welsh, Japanese, and Mandarin. She has also recorded albums of traditional Greek folk songs.
