Bruderschaft is an electronic music collective that came together as a charity project to benefit cancer research. The name, which translates to 'Brotherhood' in German, reflects the collaborative spirit of the project. The core members of the group are comprised of a rotating roster of contributors from various prominent electro-industrial acts. Rexx Arkana, who is known as a promoter, DJ, and the frontman for FGFC820, originally founded Bruderschaft as a way to give back to the community following his father's cancer diagnosis.
The project's debut single, "Forever," released in 2003, featured a diverse line-up including Ronan Harris of VNV Nation and Sebastian Komor of Icon of Coil, among others. It achieved significant acclaim for its emotive electro-synth harmonies blended with pulsating beats and resonant vocals, which immediately resonated within the Gothic/EBM community. Expanding their discography, Bruderschaft presented fans with a full-length album, "Return," which continued their tradition of richly layered synths and deeply engaging melodies, bound by themes of unity and human connection. The "Return (Deluxe Edition)" and the "Forever - Limited Edition" reflect an expanded package of their foundational works, featuring rare remixes and additional content. With each release, including the heartfelt "Falling - Single," Bruderschaft fortified its reputation as a philanthropic group whose music not only entertains but also campaigns for a deeply personal cause.
