**Leone Magiera** is an Italian pianist, conductor, and vocal coach whose career has been a love letter to Italian opera. Born in Modena in 1934, he grew up in a city that’s practically opera royalty—no surprise he became a trusted collaborator for legends like Luciano Pavarotti and Mirella Freni (who was also his childhood friend!). Magiera’s fingerprints are all over iconic performances, whether he’s coaching singers, conducting orchestras, or accompanying them on piano.
