Paul Ben-Haim
Paul Ben-Haim was a renowned Israeli composer born in Munich, Germany, in 1897. He studied music in Munich and Berlin before immigrating to Palestine in 1933. Ben-Haim's compositions often drew inspiration from Jewish folk music and biblical texts, and he played a significant role in shaping the sound of Israeli classical music. His works include symphonies, concertos, chamber music, and choral pieces, and he is considered one of the most important composers of the 20th century.
