Dimension Costeña is a renowned Nicaraguan musical group formed in 1978 in Bluefields, a city on the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua. Over the years, they have produced a significant body of work, including albums like "Dale su Rondón," "Sabroso Palo de Mayo," and "Melancolías." Their music often features traditional rhythms such as Palo de Mayo, alongside other Caribbean influences like Socca, Calipso, and Reggae. The group has performed internationally, touring in Europe, the Caribbean, Central America, and North America, showcasing their unique cultural heritage. Dimension Costeña has been recognized with several awards for their contributions to Nicaraguan culture, including international accolades like the "Century Internacional Quality Era Award" and the "Galardón Mundial al Prestigio."
