Barney Kessel

Barney Kessel (1923–2004) was an American jazz guitarist whose career spanned more than five decades. Born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, Kessel became one of the most sought-after session guitarists in the U.S., a pioneer of the cool jazz genre, and a member of the "Great Guitars," along with Charlie Byrd and Herb Ellis.
