She Past Away is a Turkish duo that has been captivating the international dark-wave and post-punk scene since their formation in 2006. Hailing from Bursa, the band comprises vocalist and guitarist Volkan Caner and bass player Doruk Ozturkcan. They are known for their unique blend of dark 80's wave with a contemporary post-punk approach, enveloped by introspective lyrics and themes. She Past Away's music is characterized by its use of Turkish lyrics which adds an exotic and enigmatic edge to their gothic aesthetic.

The band's debut album "Belirdi Gece" (which translates to "The Night Emerged"), released in 2012, received critical acclaim within the underground music community for its nostalgic sound, reminiscent of the golden era of post-punk while still breaking new ground. Their follow-up albums "Narin Yalnizlik" (2015) and "Disko Anksiyete" (2019) continued this tradition, with the latter further cementing their status by featuring anthemic tracks that received extensive club play. The band is not just recognized for their studio recordings but also for their compelling live performances that have garnered a dedicated following worldwide.
