Her work has garnered critical acclaim, with albums like "Minor Planet" (2016) and "Invisible Island" (2020) establishing her signature sound of intricate harmonies and delicate compositions. Under the alias MimiCof, Hirano also explores more experimental electronic music, performing at festivals like CTM and Heroines of Sound.
