New Animal is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2018 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Ryan Kattner, formerly of the band Man Man. New Animal's music is characterized by its catchy melodies, jangly guitars, and introspective lyrics. The band has released two albums, "New Animal" (2019) and "Same Fires" (2021), and has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe.
