Name Taken

**Name Taken** was an American rock band from Orange, California. Originally known as **All That's Left**, they changed their name to **Name Taken** after discovering another band with the same name. Formed in 1999, the band started performing in their high school amphitheater and later played shows at backyard parties and church dances. They gained recognition by appearing on compilations like **Atticus I** and **Warped Tour 2002**. Their discography includes EPs like **The Silent Game** and albums such as **Hold On**, released in 2004. The band toured extensively with notable bands like **Yellowcard**, **Rufio**, and **Fall Out Boy** before disbanding in 2005 to pursue college education. Despite a few reunion shows, they did not reform as a band until releasing a new single, **Blood and Bones**, in 2018.

Name Taken's music and legacy have been influential, with their song **"Panic"** reportedly inspiring the name of the platinum-selling band **Panic at the Disco**. Their final lineup included Chad Atkinson on vocals and bass, Ryan Edwards on guitar, and Blake Means on guitar. The band's history reflects a dynamic period in the early 2000s music scene, marked by energetic live performances and a strong connection with their fan base.
