Angel Romero

Angel Romero is a distinguished classical guitarist, conductor, and former member of the renowned Romero Guitar Quartet. Born in Málaga, Spain, on August 17, 1946, Angel emanates from a lineage of exceptional musicians, known as "The Royal Family of the Guitar." His father, Celedonio Romero, was both his mentor and a monumental figure in his life, having founded the family quartet, which included Angel and his two brothers, Pepe and Celin.

As a solo artist, Angel Romero’s virtuosic skill has been revered worldwide. His discography spans a vast range of classical pieces, emphasizing his passion and flair for Spanish works. Notable among his recent releases is "Giuliani: Guitar Concertos No. 1&3, Rodrigo: Concierto de Aranjuez," showcasing his mastery of the intricate concerto form, and "The Rodrigo Collection," which highlights his profound connection to the music of the esteemed composer Joaquín Rodrigo.
