Sweeping Death

Sweeping Death is a dark heavy metal band from Germany, formed in 2014 by guitarist Simon and vocalist Eli. The band's journey began with a blend of old-school rock and blues, evolving into metal after discovering Metallica. Over time, they developed a unique sound that combines classic heavy metal with progressive elements. Their early releases include the EP "Astoria" (2017) and the full-length album "In Lucid" (2018), which marked significant milestones in their musical evolution. Sweeping Death has performed over 120 shows, sharing stages with international acts across Europe, including Sweden, France, Italy, Austria, and the Czech Republic.

The band is known for their DIY approach, handling their own recording and promotion. Their music is influenced by bands like Opeth, Tribulation, and Dissection, reflecting a strong affinity for Swedish metal. Sweeping Death's recent releases include "Tristesse," a concept EP exploring the number three, and other notable works such as "Alter the Rift" and "Between The Hammer And The Anvil." The band continues to evolve, with future projects in development.
