Phoenyx, originally known as NRaca, is a San Francisco native born to jazz prodigy parents Baomi Butts and Larry Nash, kicking off her wild ride in music early as a child prodigy herself. She grew up globetrotting—Japan, Europe, even Lagos, Nigeria—directing choirs at 12, joining BMG group Four Colourz at 16 to open for Puff Daddy's European tour, and later shining on Broadway in *Hairspray* and Vegas' *Peepshow*.
Now rocking as Phoenyx, she's a singer-songwriter blending pop, rock, soul, and her jazz roots, with credits as a dancer, choreographer, model, and more—like being Missy Elliott's butt double for Madonna. She's dropped impactful tracks like "Stop Killing Us" and teased albums such as *U R Welcome*, building her #UNFUCKWITHABLE vibe while tackling real talk on strength and unity.
