Pennybridge Kingz

Pennybridge Kingz, also known as PBK, is a hip-hop duo composed of Jiar Garmiani (G.R.) and Kaveh Kodie Kabinejad (Kodie). Both members are originally from the Middle East; G.R. is a Kurd from Iran, and Kodie is also Iranian. They fled to Sweden during the Iran-Iraq war and settled in Örebro. G.R. & Kodie share a background of early friendship and a passion for hip-hop, inspired by West Coast gangsta rap. They started making music together, with G.R. handling production and Kodie focusing on writing. They gained local success and have performed extensively around Sweden. Their music style is characterized as hardcore hip-hop.

The duo gained early recognition for their performances, notably stealing the show at the city finals in Örebro despite not being official contestants. They became motivated to pursue a career in hip-hop, forming the group Pennybridge Kingz. Although there's limited information on recent releases like "Wrong Side Of The Tracks" or "No Holds Barred," their history reflects a commitment to their craft and cultural identity.
