Petre Inspirescu

Petre Inspirescu is a prominent figure in the Romanian electronic music scene, known for his contributions to both dancefloor-oriented house and techno, as well as more experimental and ambient sounds. He first gained recognition with his EP "Tips" on Luciano's Cadenza label in 2007. Alongside Rhadoo and Raresh, Inspirescu co-founded the label in 2007, which has become a platform for innovative electronic music from Romania and beyond. His solo albums, such as "Intr-o Seara Organica..." (2009) and "Grădina Onirică" (2012), showcase a blend of melodies and harmonies that transcend typical dance music. More recently, Inspirescu has explored ambient and minimal sounds with albums like "Vin Ploile" (2015) and "Vîntul Prin Salcii," which feature intricate arrangements of piano, strings, and wind instruments.

Inspirescu's work often reflects a deep exploration of sound, combining electronic elements with classical influences. He has also released music under the alias πEnsemble, where he blends classical music with electronic production. As a DJ, Inspirescu is internationally recognized, performing at major clubs and festivals worldwide. His mix CD for the fabric series, "fabric 135," further solidified his reputation as a versatile and innovative artist.
