Tunes of Negation

Tunes of Negation is a musical project led by the well-known electronic music artist Sam Shackleton. This project marked a new creative direction for Shackleton, who is renowned for his innovative approaches to electronic music. For Tunes of Negation, Shackleton collaborated with other talented musicians. In 2019, the project released its debut album, "Reach The Endless Sea," featuring contributions from keyboardist Takumi Motokawa, mallet player Raphael, and vocalist Heather Leigh. Over time, Tunes of Negation has continued to evolve with releases such as "Like the Stars Forever and Ever" and "Nowhere Ending Sky," showcasing the group's distinct and evolving sound.

Tunes of Negation allows Shackleton to experiment with different musical textures, often exploring psychedelic and atmospheric electronic landscapes. This project highlights Shackleton's versatility and willingness to venture into new musical territories, which has been a hallmark of his career across various aliases and collaborations.
