Klára Würtz

Klára Würtz is a Hungarian-born pianist known for her refined and sensitive approach to classical repertoire, currently based in the Netherlands. She studied at the prestigious Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest under renowned teachers such as Zoltán Kocsis, Ferenc Rados, and György Kurtág. Würtz has toured extensively in North America and Europe since the early 1990s, performing in iconic venues like Carnegie Hall and the Amsterdam Concertgebouw. Her versatile discography includes works by Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, Bartók, and Rachmaninoff, with a notable recording of Bach's Goldberg Variations that received critical acclaim for its fresh and thoughtful interpretation.
