Legião Urbana

Legião Urbana was a Brazilian rock band formed in Brasília in 1982. The band's lineup consisted of Renato Russo (vocals, guitar), Dado Villa-Lobos (guitar), Marcelo Bonfá (bass), and Ico Ouro-Preto (drums). Legião Urbana is considered one of the most important and influential bands in Brazilian rock history. Their music was characterized by its introspective lyrics, often dealing with themes of love, loss, and social injustice. The band released eight studio albums and several live albums and compilations before disbanding in 1996 following the death of Russo.
