Ulhas Kashalkar

Ulhas Kashalkar is a highly respected vocalist in the world of Hindustani classical music, known for his deep knowledge and masterful command of multiple gharanas (schools of music), particularly the Gwalior, Agra, and Jaipur traditions. Born in 1955, he trained under prominent gurus including his father N.D. Kashalkar and Pandit Ram Marathe, and later honed his skills under Pandit Gajananrao Joshi. What sets Kashalkar apart is his rare ability to seamlessly shift between different vocal styles, staying true to the essence of each gharana.
