Percy Faith

Percy Faith was a Canadian-American composer, arranger, and conductor known for his lush, romantic orchestral arrangements. Born in Toronto in 1908, Faith began his career as a pianist and arranger for various dance bands. In the 1940s, he moved to the United States and gained fame for his work with Columbia Records, where he produced a string of hit albums featuring his signature "Faith Sound." Faith's music was often used in films and television shows, and he received numerous awards, including two Grammy Awards. He passed away in 1976, leaving behind a legacy of timeless and evocative orchestral arrangements.
