Juhani Lamminmäki is a Finnish violinist and conductor born on October 20, 1960, in Jyväskylä. He studied violin in Lahti and has been active in Finland’s classical music scene as both a performer and a leader, notably with ensembles such as Kirkkonummen Kamariorkesteri and as an artistic director for the Tapiola Sinfonietta. His recording work includes collaborations with renowned soloists, such as on recordings of Jean Sibelius’s “Six Humoresques for Violin and Orchestra” with violinist Leonidas Kavakos and the City of Espoo Chamber Orchestra.
