Los Cuatro Huasos were a Chilean folk music group formed in 1943. The group consisted of four members: Jorge Montaldo, Hernán "Nano" Videla, Roberto Lira, and Héctor Pavez. They were known for their traditional Chilean folk songs, which often featured Andean instruments such as the charango and quena. Los Cuatro Huasos were one of the most popular folk groups in Chile during the 1950s and 1960s, and they toured extensively throughout South America and Europe. The group disbanded in 1973, but they reunited in 1983 and continued to perform until 1993.
