Cellos is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 2005, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Mike Magrann, bassist Chris Pappas, and drummer Jake Nussbaum. Cellos' music is characterized by its catchy melodies, jangly guitars, and introspective lyrics. The band has released four albums to date, including "The Great Leap Backward" (2008), "Standard and Poor" (2011), "The Accident" (2014), and "Bomb Shelter" (2018). Cellos has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as The National, Yo La Tengo, and The War on Drugs.
