John Hänni

John Hänni is a Swiss singer-songwriter born in Papua New Guinea in 1969 to a Swiss family. He spent his early years in Papua New Guinea before moving to London and later Switzerland, where he became a carpenter apprentice. His music career began with his first CD, "Numer One," produced with Matthias Steiner in 1993 under the name "Mat & John." In 1998, he released his first solo album, "Buy Without Money," which marked the start of a fruitful collaboration with the Mosaicstones team. Over the years, John Hänni has produced music in multiple languages, including English, German, and Pidgin, reflecting his diverse cultural background. His songs often carry deep emotional themes, such as "Grief," which reflects on personal loss.
