Chuwi

Chuwi is a Puerto Rican indie band formed in 2019 in Isabela, Puerto Rico. The group consists of siblings Wilfredo "Willy" Aldarondo, Lorén Aldarondo, Wester Aldarondo, and their friend Adrián López. Chuwi's sound blends elements of indie rock, Latin pop, jazz, and tropical fusion, creating a unique and soulful musical style.

The band gained wider recognition when some of their songs caught the attention of reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny, who added them to his personal playlists. This led to a collaboration, with Chuwi featuring on Bad Bunny's album "Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana" on the track "Weltita." Their music often incorporates elements of their coastal hometown, including local folklore and tropical vibes.
