Solomon Hicks, often referred to as “King Solomon,” is a blues and soul guitarist known for his fiery guitar playing and smooth vocals. Hailing from Harlem, New York, Hicks began playing guitar at a young age and quickly gained a reputation as a prodigy in the New York blues scene. He started performing professionally as a teenager and was a longtime fixture at the legendary Cotton Club. His music blends blues, soul, jazz, and rock, paying homage to the genre's greats while bringing his own youthful energy and flair.

In 2020, Hicks released the album Harlem, which showcased his versatility and deep roots in blues traditions.
