Ana Sokolovic

Ana Sokolović, born in 1968 in Belgrade, Serbia (formerly Yugoslavia), has established herself as one of the vibrant voices in contemporary classical music, particularly within Canada's borders where she has resided since moving to Montreal in 1992. She studied composition at the University of Novi Sad before continuing her education at the University of Montreal, where her distinctive style, often reflecting her Serbian heritage, began to flourish in a creative milieu.
