**Mis Ivy** is a trailblazer in Brazil's vibrant Dancehall scene. Born and raised in Capão Redondo, on the outskirts of São Paulo, Mis Ivy's musical journey began with early influences from Jamaican digital music during her time in Germany. Upon returning to Brazil, she became part of the pioneering collective **Família 7 Velas**, which led the Dancehall movement in the country. Her solo career took off with the release of the mixtape *Ao Som do Ragga*, where she explored Jamaican riddims and established herself as a force in the music industry. This led to performances across Brazil and internationally. Mis Ivy is also known for her work in Brazilian Hip-Hop as part of *Projeto As Minas*, a collective of female MCs.
Currently, Mis Ivy continues to redefine music and culture with her groundbreaking work. Her second studio album, *Escuta*, is set to make waves in the music scene. The album, supported by São Paulo’s Municipal Secretariat of Culture, features electrifying tracks like “Sai da Frente” and a remix of her hit song “Punanny.” Mis Ivy is also involved in *Time Punanny*, a Salvador-based production company focused on amplifying female voices in the arts.
