Tony Moore is an English musician and singer-songwriter whose diverse career spans over four decades. He first made his mark as a keyboard player in the late 1970s with the then-unknown heavy metal band Iron Maiden, before moving on to other projects including playing keyboards for Cutting Crew, notable for their hit "(I Just) Died in Your Arms." Moore has also been involved in progressive rock and has a rich history of working with various bands and artists. Beyond performing, he founded The Kashmir Klub in London in 1997, a live music venue aimed at promoting new talent. His musical journey has taken him from early days in Bristol and London pub scenes to performing internationally, including appearances at events like the 2019 European Games closing ceremony. Recently, he has continued his artistic expression with releases like the single "Tomorrow" (2020) and the album "Deep Heart In Rock" (2010).
Moore's career is characterized by a spirit of exploration—from the pub rock roots of early Iron Maiden gigs to touring with Tanz Der Youth alongside acts like The Stranglers and Black Sabbath. He has recounted experiences of living in a progressive rock band commune and recording at Abbey Road Studios with Radio Java. Despite some projects not reaching broad commercial success, he has enjoyed moments of recognition, such as airplay in the Netherlands and charting singles. Throughout his work, Moore has combined his skills as a performer and promoter, nurturing new artists and spreading messages of love and positivity through his recent solo work.
