He Is We

He Is We is an indie-pop band originally formed in Tacoma, Washington, by singer-songwriter Rachel Taylor and guitarist Trevor Kelly. The duo first met while working at a music equipment store and quickly bonded over their shared passion for music. They began collaborating on songwriting, perfectly blending Taylor's heartfelt vocals with Kelly's acoustic-driven compositions. He Is We gained a substantial following through social media and online music sharing platforms, resonating with fans through their relatable lyrics and infectious melodies.

The band's music touches on themes of love, faith, and personal struggle, often delivered with a mix of tenderness and buoyancy that has become a hallmark of their sound. Their debut album, "My Forever," released in 2010, received critical acclaim and established them as a fresh face in the indie music scene. Over time, He Is We has seen changes, including the departure of Trevor Kelly and Rachel Taylor overcoming health challenges to continue the project. Despite these shifts, Taylor has continued to be the driving force behind He Is We, releasing a string of singles and EPs such as "Hold My Heart," "Every Other Man," and "All I Need," as well as the acoustic versions of their popular tracks like "Amazing Grace (Stripped)." Fans remain enchanted by He Is We's ability to evolve while staying true to the emotive and storytelling roots of their earlier work.
