Estēvan

Estēvan, born Steven Valvasori, is a music producer and DJ originally from Ottawa, Canada, whose passion for music first took hold when he was just a teenager. He started DJing at age 14 and was producing music by 15, quickly making a name for himself both at home and abroad. Estēvan co-founded the group Nöstravé, with whom he toured major European festivals, including performing at Finland’s Weekend Festival in 2014. After the band’s dissolution in 2017, he relocated to Montreal and began focusing on his solo career, further developing his unique sound influenced by diverse musical traditions.

More recently, Estēvan has split his time between Montreal and San Juan, Puerto Rico, immersing himself in the local music scene and collaborating with artists like Derek Novah. His artistic evolution is showcased by his cross-cultural EP “AFROLATINO,” which blends Afrobeat and reggaeton, as well as his more recent releases that highlight his ability to fuse rhythmic patterns and global influences into danceable, emotive tracks.
