Eric Fraj

Eric Fraj is a versatile musician known for his work in multiple languages, including Occitan, Castilian, Catalan, and French. Born in Bailleul in December 1956, he is a singer, composer, and interpreter who has been active in the music scene since the early 1970s, starting his career in Bordeaux. His music often incorporates Mediterranean influences and features a lyrical voice style. Fraj is also a teacher and has been involved in various artistic projects, including creating numerous stage shows. He has released several albums, such as *Subrevida*, *Transits*, *Aranca-me*, *Fat e Fols*, and *Pep El Mal*, showcasing his diverse musical talents.

Fraj's work extends beyond music; he is a writer and translator, having published a bilingually written book titled *Liens* in Occitan and French. His contributions to the Occitan language and culture are notable, and he has been recognized for his efforts in promoting these traditions. In 2022, he was honored with the title of Maître ès jeux by the Académie des Jeux floraux, reflecting his dedication to cultural and artistic pursuits.
