Buraka Som Sistema was a genre-blending electronic music collective from Portugal, known for their infectious fusion of Angolan kuduro music with modern dance beats. Formed in Lisbon in 2006, the group—comprised of producers Branko, Riot, Conductor, Kalaf Ângelo, and MC Blaya—helped bring kuduro to international audiences with their high-energy performances and innovative sound. Their breakout track "Yah!" and albums like *Black Diamond* (2008) and *Komba* (2011) cemented their place in global dance music. After a decade of pushing boundaries, Buraka Som Sistema announced their disbandment in 2016, leaving behind a legacy of vibrant, club-shaking rhythms that continue to influence artists worldwide.
