Schwarzblut is a Dutch band that seamlessly merges dark electronic music with historical Germanic texts, crafting a uniquely captivating blend of EBM (Electronic Body Music), dark wave, and industrial sounds. The group, composed of Zeon, Ange, Demanufacturer, Benjamin, and Hiltje, has built its artistic identity on the combination of poetic lyrics—often drawn from the romantic era of German literature—with pounding, synth-driven melodies.

Since their inception in 2007, Schwarzblut has been dedicated to telling stories through their music, exploring the depths of human emotion and historical narratives. They debuted with "Seelenwolf" and continued to evolve their sound with subsequent releases like "Das Mausoleum" and "Maschinenwesen," the latter of which was expanded with a bonus tracks version. The band's penchant for theatrics and rich storytelling is evident in their albums, such as "Gebeyn Aller Verdammten" and its deluxe edition, as well as "Idisi" and its deluxe variant, which showcases their ability to create epic musical landscapes.
