Klezmerson

Klezmerson is a genre-blending band based in Mexico City, founded by composer and multi-instrumentalist Benjamin Shwartz. Formed in 2003, the group creatively fuses traditional klezmer music with Latin rhythms, jazz, rock, and classical influences, crafting a distinctive and modern sound that defies easy categorization. Known for their virtuosic musicianship and innovative arrangements, Klezmerson has earned international recognition for their unique take on world music.

The band has collaborated with avant-garde composer John Zorn, contributing to his Masada project with the albums Amon: Book of Angels Vol. 24 and The Book Beri'ah, Vol. 6: Tiferet, both released on Zorn’s Tzadik label. Their discography showcases a wide range of musical influences and a commitment to pushing stylistic boundaries, making them a standout act on the global fusion and experimental music scene.
